Fall Louisville Review Publication

I just sent off the release contract today for The Louisville Review to run my story "This is Not a Burial" in October. It's no Alligator-Juniper fiction prize, but it's still pretty exciting (10 points for anyone who knows which colleague I'm poking fun at). I'll post an update when the issue is released.

In other writerly news, I'll be posting my conclusion of the Enlightenment post series (sorry it's taken so long). And since "This is not..." is the third story from the Lucky stories to be published, I'm going to start contacting agents and publishing houses to try and get the whole book published. Look out literary obscurity--here I come!

Phantasmagoria Vol. 8 #1

I got my contributor's copies of Phantasmagoria today, which includes the story "Westward." It's a slick publication--well bound, good cover art. It's nice to see my work featured beside so many other finely crafted pieces.

In case there's any interest, a copy can be obtained for $9. Just write and send a check to: Phantasmagoria, English Dept., Century College, 3300 Century Ave. North, White Bear Lake, MN 55110. Just indicate you want the current issue (Vol. 8 #1). Or get a year's subscription for just $6 more.
